Shock Cord:

Elasticated shock cords are made for use in conjunction with the scaffold sheeting. A pointed plastic toggle is attached to one end allowing penetration through the polyethylene sheeting. Although mainly used for tarpaulin scaffold sheeting can also be used for tying down tarpaulins.
I personally use them to tie down ground sheets giving an even strain along the seam where the eyelet is positioned (instead of possible damage with a peg directly pushing into eyelet)
